Good-for-you gelato! Millie’s Vegan Gelato makes this oxymoron ring true by committing to optimum health and superior flavor. We are painstakingly picky about what goes into a pint of our vegan gelato, using quality organic ingredients and integrity (plus a hefty dose of fun) as our guide.
We start with organic almonds and soak them in filtered water. This releases the enzyme inhibitors and makes them more digestible and nutritious. We blend the almonds to make homemade sprouted almond milk and add organic cashew cream for a velvety smooth base, rich in nutrients.
Then, we select organic ingredients that will dazzle your taste buds and make your heart happy…
We sweeten our gelato with organic blue agave and organic coconut palm sugar. Coconut palm sugar is harvested from the nectar of coconut flowers and it is sustainably grown and harvested.
Millie’s Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt is a mind-awakening, taste bud-thrilling experience. Smooth and silky almond milk base, rich cacao powder and cacao butter are swirled with coconut nectar caramel and Celtic Sea Salt®. Organic, fair-trade, and crafted with love. Need we say more?
Vanilla Caramel Sea Salt features organic fair trade Madagascar vanilla and Celtic Sea Salt® for full luxurious flavor. This unprocessed, whole salt is packed full of naturally occurring, essential minerals and absolutely no additives or anything removed. Swirl in coconut nectar caramel… Sweet and salty heaven.
A touch of himalayan salt is used in other Millie’s Gelato flavors. Himalayan salt is pure, hand-mined salt found naturally, deep within the pristine Himalayan Mountains. Crystallized over 250 million years ago, ancient sea beds were covered by lava, protecting the salt from modern-day pollution, and giving one of the purest salts to be found on earth.
Organic berries and stone fruit are culled from local farmers at the peak of their season so they are chockablock with natural sweetness and nutrients. Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake is another favorite. Creamy lemon gelato with sparkling tart raspberries come together to make a smooth and exciting combination.
